The absolute must-do thing in Asuka!

It’s Satoyama Farm Visit, our recommended program to spend a day with local farmers.

Our friendly farmer will meet you at Asuka station, and then take you to the rice terraces area. It’s a nice hike up to the hill. From the top of the hill, you can see a great outlook of the village below.

After a short drive, you will pick some fresh vegetables, then have lunch at the farmer’s house.
It’s a great way to know the farmer’s life in Japan and understand the unique relationship between agriculture and community in rural areas of Japan.
